Grading Policy

Students may occasionally be given a chance to redo an assignment for a better grade with the exception of Spelling Tests.  Students will only be allowed to get half the points back on any assignment and the final grade not going over a 70.  Redo assignments will be placed in student’s purple folders on Tuesday’s and must be returned by Friday.  Parents must sign all redo assignments. Students who do not complete the redo assignment or turn it in on time will keep the original grade.

Absent / Make Up Work
When your student returns from an absence, he/she will have a make-up folder on their desk with a list of the assignments and papers needed to make-up the work.  Make-up work will be assigned a due date.  Late work will not be accepted.  If there is a problem with the completion of the work by the due date, please let me know so extra time can be given.
