Apply for the P-EBT Food Benefits

Tuesday, June 30, 2020 is the last day to apply for P-EBT food benefits. Eligible families can apply for P-EBT benefits to buy food. Children who were certified for free or reduced-price school meals through the National School Lunch Program during the 2019-2020 school year are eligible for P-EBT. Eligible families that received SNAP benefits for March have already received P-EBT benefits and do not have to apply. Visit for more information. Fill out an application here:

Dayton ISD Backpack Policy

For the 2018-2019 school year, Dayton ISD will only allow mesh or clear backpacks. Backpacks cannot contain patterns or designs that hinder the ability to clearly see the contents. Mesh backpacks should be solid colors (although a secondary trim color is acceptable) and clear backpacks should not have designs that hinder visibility.

STAAR Scores Available

STAAR ScoresSTAAR Scores

Attention Parents: On June 12th, STAAR scores will be available through the Texas Assessment Management System. Click on the link below and then click on "Log In To Student Portal. "If you do not know your child's access code, click on "Lookup Access Code." You will then be asked to type in your child's PEIMS ID. The PEIMS ID is your child's Social Security Number.
