I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Music Education.
I earned my Bachelor of Music Education from Sam Houston State University.
I began my teaching career in Fort Bend ISD at Sugar Mill Elementary. I then moved to Spring ISD and taugt at both Wells Middle School and Westfield High School. After moving to Illinois with my family, I taught at South Pekin Grade School as well as Pekin Community High School where I accompanied all vocal ensembles as well as directing the unisex show choir.
I also served the Pekin community by serving as the director of Friend in Harmony as well as Pekin Civic Chorus.
This is my second year here at Richter Elementary in Dayton ISD.
I have a daughter, Hailie, who is 28 years old. She lives and works in Lincoln, Illinois.
I also have a son, Seth, who is 25 years old. He lives and works in Ohio as a vocal/piano teacher as well as performing with Michigan Opera Company. He will be attending Toledo University this fall to work on his Masters degree in Vocal Music Performance.
